For one brief moment, models were an absolute rarity across multiple mainstream fashion titles but the tables are slowly starting to turn. Thankfully for us (and the models), Lydia Slater at British Harper’s Bazaar is seemingly making it her mission to reinstate fashion models as cover stars, with Luna Bijl and Soo Joo Park having appeared on the publication’s front covers throughout 2023. Now, for November 2023, it’s Pooja Mor’s turn as cover girl, who fronts the magazine’s latest captured by Boo George and styled Tania Rat-Patron. The Indian beauty oozes elegance and grace in the crisp cover shot, gazing down George’s lens while dripping in Bulgari bling and a feathered Celine number.
Bazaar‘s latest went down a total treat with members of our forums. “I like how they use models on their covers instead of celebs, unlike *cough*Vogue*cough*,” voiced Mr Yayo.
“I like Pooja Mor! Nice to see her gracing the cover,” applauded forum member oaklee91.
“I like this,” echoed vogue28. “Indeed it’s wonderful to see models back on the covers of mainstream fashion magazines and this feels so appropriate for a month like November. The colors are gorgeous, and Pooja Mor looks beautiful. The whole cover is just executed very well.”
Xone was also an admirer of the outcome, adding: “Beautiful cover and color scheme.”
“Peaceful, soft and chic. It’s a good, glamorous cover,” Bertrando3 approved.
“Such beautiful lighting they used. Love the colors and her gaze!” chimed in Ihhbl.
“The cover is beautiful. Putting models on their covers… Harper’s Bazaar I see what you’re doing,” commended JPineapple.
